Andrew Eddie ลาออกจากทีม Joomla แต่ยังคงพัฒนา Joomla ต่อไป

    สมาชิกหลักของทีม Joomla Andrew Eddie ได้ลาออกจากโปรเจคแล้ว ซึ่งเค้าได้อยู่ในตำแหน่ง Project leader มาเป็นเวลานาน Johan Janssens ผู้พัฒนาโปรเจคกล่าวว่าเค้าอยากจะจดจำ Andrew ในเรื่องของความเป็นผู้นำและความทุ่มเทในการพัฒนาโปรเจคทั้ง Mambo และ Joomla

    Andrew Eddie ได้เข้าร่วมทีม Joomla ในตำแหน่ง Project Director โดยเริ่มเข้ามาในโปรเจคตั้งแต่โปรเจค Mambo ในปี 2003 และแทนที่ตำแหน่ง Lead Developer ของ Robert Castley ในเดือนตุลาคม 2004 รวมถึงเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการผลักดันให้โปรเจคได้รับรางวัลสำหรับโปรแกรม Mambo 4.5.0 เป็นต้นไป

Upgrade to Joomla! 1.0.10 Security Release!

ImageJoomla! 1.0.10 [ Sundown ] is now available as of Monday 26th June 2006 04:00 UTC for download here.

All existing Joomla! users MUST UPGRADE to this version, due to several High Level vulnerabilities that affect ALL Previous versions of Joomla! 

1.0.10 contains the following important security fixes:

  • 03 High Level Security Fixes
  • 01 Medium Level Security Fixes
  • 05 Low Level security
  • 40+ General bug fixes

If you are using ANY previous version of Joomla!, you need to upgrade to 1.0.10 

1.0.10 is available as a Full Package, which contains all Joomla! files and Patch Packages which contain only the files that have been changed by the Stability work conducted from previous Joomla! 1.0.x versions.

Joomla! 1.0.9 out now!!

ImageJoomla! 1.0.9 [ Sunshine ] is now available as of Monday 05th June 2006 18:00 UTC for download here.

We suggest that all Joomla! users upgrade to this version. 

1.0.9 contains the following changes:

  • 12 Low Level Security Fixes
  • 160+ General bug fixes
  • Several Performance enhancements

Although this release contains 12 security fixes, as they are of a low level nature, this release is being characterized as a Stabiility/General release.  If you are running 1.0.8, you are advised to upgrade to 1.0.9 as it fixes several annoying non-critical errors in 1.0.8

1.0.9 is available as a Full Package, which contains all Joomla! files and Patch Packages which contain only the files that have been changed by the Stability work conducted from previous Joomla! 1.0.x versions.

Joomla! 1.0.7 released!

ImageJoomla! 1.0.7 [ Sunburst ] is now available as of Sunday 15th January 2006 21:00 UTC for download here. 1.0.7 is essentially 1.0.6 repackaged to fix one major bug in 1.0.6 - therefore it should still be considered a Security Release.  It contains nine (9) `Low Level` Security Fixes, and seventy (70) plus minor/non-critical bug fixes.

We recommend that you upgrade to this version.  If you are running 1.0.6 you MUST upgrade to 1.0.7

1.0.7 is available as a Full Package, which contains all Joomla! files and a Patch Package which contains only the files that have been changed by the Security & Bug Fix work conducted.

To ensure the integrity of the files you are downloading you are advised only to download from the 'Official Source' on the Official Joomla! Forge.  As a extra security measure we now make public the MD5 checksum of the respective package files to allow people to do integrity checking.

Joomla! 1.0.6 Security Release available shortly

Joomla! 1.0.6 will be released on Sunday January 15, 2006.

This will be a Security Release.  This means it contains several Security Fixes:
  • 7 `Low Level` Threat fixes
  • 50+ non-critical bug fixes
Although none of these Security Threats are seen as critical, we recommend people to upgrade to this version.
If you are using SEF you are advised to upgrade to this version as it fixes a problem with SEF handling in 1.0.5



1.0.6 will be available as a Patch Upgrade package, with only affected files or as a Full Distribution package.



At the moment 1.0.6 has been packaged as Beta and distributed to official Joomla! Support groups for Testing prior to its release on Sunday.



More information about what exactly has been fixed in 1.0.6 will be available when 1.0.6 is released
